The Andersen Library Exhibit Gallery is located on the first floor of Andersen Library. The Gallery is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Other exhibits may be seen in the James Ford Bell Library Gallery located on the 4th floor of Wilson Library, at the entrance to the James Ford Bell Library. Exhibits are on view Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both exhibit areas are closed for all university holidays.
So Far From Spain: Books and Manuscripts Related to Medieval and Early Modern Spain in the Rare Books Collection of the University of Minnesota Libraries (thru March 20, 2006) - A display of the precious titles related to Medieval and Early Modern Spain including a manuscript chronicle probably written in 1450, several medieval literary works printed between 1500 and 1800 in Spain, and a complete set of Father Feijoo's encyclopedic Teatro critico universal (predecessor of the French Encyclopedie) of the 1730's.
