This project, done under the auspices of the NASW, was conducted by Vida Grayson between 1978 and 1980.

Scope and Content

Transcripts of interviews with social workers Harriett Bartlett, Arthur Dunham, Arlien Johnson, Gisela Konopka, Inabel Lindsay, Helen Harris Perlman, Gladys Ryland, and Gertrude Wilson are included. The Social Welfare History Archives also holds taped voice samples of the interview subjects.
