This collection is a gift of the GLBT Pride/Twin Cities committee.
The GLBT Pride/Twin Cities is an active collection, with large additional deposits made to the collection in June of each year; other smaller deposits are donated on a weekly to monthly basis throughout the year.
The collection is arranged in chronological order.
GLBT Pride/Twin Cities, the organizer of the Twin Cities Pride Celebration, is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. The Mission of GLBT Pride/Twin Cities is to commemorate and celebrate our diverse heritage, to inspire the achievement of equality and challenge discrimination.

The collection contains corporate records, including minutes, contracts and reports, newspaper and magazine publications, correspondence, flyers, materials regarding the planning of the annual Pride Celebration and a master set of Pride Guides (1972-2005). In addition, Braille editions for select years of the Pride Guides, videos, T-Shirts, Buttons, Pride souvenirs and posters can also be found in the collection; availability varies from year to year.
