Historical Note

Creative Theatre Unlimited was founded as a non-profit chapter of the
Community Art Alliance, Miami, Florida in 1981. Instead of using scripts and
actors, Creative Theatre Unlimited worked with the community, educational, and
school groups to create, discover and present drama and other arts programs for
a variety of needs and purposes. The focus of Creative Theatre Unlimited is to
bring art to people who were not likely to otherwise experience it. The
president, Charles Numrich, was the creator, organizer, advertiser, fundraiser
and dramatist for the organization. The materials here represent the programs
and performances from the theatre's work in Minneapolis and St. Paul,
Minnesota.
