The Friends of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra (SPCO) is a volunteer organization that supports the activities of the only full-time professional chamber orchestra in the United States.
The collection includes Friends financial records, treasurer's reports and minutes of the Board of Directors (Friends of the SPCO), together with minutes of the Board of Directors of the St. Paul Philharmonic Society, 1968-1969,and of the St. Paul Civic Philharmonic Society, 1974-1975. Also included are documents relating to the resignation of Leopold Sipe, and miscellaneous papers from Dorthy Handford (1969-1971). Miscellaneous papers relating to the St. Paul Philharmonic Society (1969-1975) are included in this collection, which also contains "Fans, Fiddlers & Friends" record of paid bills, and Friends of the SPCO membership directories.
