<p>The North Star Drama Guild was founded by Bob Gaus and Tom Scott after
they returned from their military service during World War II. Approximately 15
plays were produced each season. The Guild's greatest performance came during
the 1947-1948 season when Blanche Yurka and Sidney Blackmer, two Broadway
performers, appeared in <emph render="italic">All My Sons</emph>. Financial
instability led the Guild to fold in the spring of 1948. </p>
