Marie Gale Bainbridge was a Minneapolis actress. She joined the
Bainbridge Players upon coming to Minnesota from Mason City, Iowa in 1914. She
married her husband, A.G. ("Buzz") Bainbridge, Jr., the organizer of the
Bainbridge Players, after World War I. When the company disbanded in the 1930s,
she officially retired from the stage, but made several guest appearances at
performances at the Old Log Theatre. Marie Bainbridge died in 1972 at the age
of 79.
