		<head>Biographical Note</head> 
		<p>Andrew H. Foss, a Norwegian immigrant born in 1874, was an architect
		  in central Minnesota. In 1918, his architectural firm, Foss &amp; Foss
		  Architects, which he operated with his son Magnus, moved to St. Cloud,
		  Minnesota. Andrew Foss died in 1921. </p> 
		<p>Magnus O. Foss, born in 1896, continued in St. Cloud and Minneapolis
		  after his father's death, until 1962, when he moved his firm, Foss Associates
		  Architecture Engineering &amp; Interiors, to the Fargo-Moorhead area. M.O. Foss
		  was the founder and national secretary-treasurer of the Society of American
		  Registered Architects. M.O. Foss died in 1988. </p>
