		<p>The collection was donated to the Northwest Architectural Archives by
		  Gene H. Rosenblum on June 22, 1998. </p>

	 <bioghist encodinganalog="545"> 
		<head>Biographical Note</head> 
		<p>Gene H. Rosenblum was born on September 4, 1927. He earned his B.A. in
		  real estate and financing from the University of Minnesota in 1949. He began
		  his career in his family's real estate business, Rosenblum Co., Inc. While he
		  spent his career in real estate, Rosenblum had varied interests and was active
		  in politics, law and Jewish organizations. </p>
		<p>Rosenblum attended William Mitchell College of Law (St. Paul, Minn.)
		  and was admitted to the bar in 1959. He was involved with the Minnesota DFL
		  party and many Jewish organizations, including B'nai B'rith, the Minnesota
		  Jewish Council and the Temple of Aaron.</p>

		<p>The collection consists of Multiple Service Listings (MLS) for
		  properties in St. Paul and Minneapolis (1939-1975), photographs, maps,
		  correspondence, St. Paul property deeds and abstracts (1883-1947) and
		  miscellaneous real estate papers regarding the Metropolitan Airports
		  Commission, including letters, clipping and notes (1991-1993). </p>
