J.H. Nickel was born about 1859 and worked most of his life in St. Paul as a general contractor. He died at age 58 on September 13, 1917.
The collection contains original drawings and blueprints for the J.B. Forest Apartment Building, located on Summit Avenue and St. Peter Street in St. Paul, Minnesota.
