Albert Van Dyck was born about 1867. His focus was on designing
residences in the Twin Cities area, although he did design other structures,
such as churches and commercial buildings. In 1916, he partnered with Luther
Twichell. Albert Van Dyck died in Minneapolis on May 24, 1941, of injuries

The collection consists of floor plans and elevations for an
automobile service garage for Abigail Thompson at 320 So. 6th Street,
Minneapolis (1916), designed with Twichell; a set of heating specifications for
the Jordan brothers residence, 2506 Grand Avenue So., in Minneapolis (n.d.); a
watercolor rendering of an unidentified Presbyterian church (delineated by
Floyd Brown, n.d.); and 84 3" x 4" black and white photographs of residential
interiors, some of which are unidentified and all of which are not identified
as to date and location. Most of them are probably in Minneapolis and St.
