Leonard Johnson was registered as an architect in the State of Minnesota from the 1920s to 1965. Johnson spent most of his career as an independent architect, but he did partner with St. Paul architect Otto M. Johnson (ca. 1886-1952) from 1932 to 1942.
The collection contains the floor plans, elevations, foundation and footing plans for a store building on the northwest corner of 7th Street and 4th Avenue (320 S. 7th St.) in Minneapolis for the Leonard Securities Corporation, New York (1948) and plans for the old Tri-State Telephone building on 3rd Avenue South in Minneapolis (1917).
