		<head>Biographical Note</head> 
		<p>William Linley Alban was born on April 29, 1873. He began his
		  architectural practice in St. Paul in 1906, working in the architectural firms
		  Thori, Alban and Fisher, Alban and Fisher, Alban and Hausler, Alban and
		  Lockhart and Ellerbe and Co. Alban specialized in church and school
		  architecture. William Alban died on July 1, 1961 in St. Paul. </p>
