Biographical Note

John Gill published a small literary journal in the 1960s entitled New American and Canadian Poetry. He also authored books of poetry, as well as published books of poetry of others under the name of New Books beginning in 1966.

Scope and Content Note

The collection contains correspondence from Robert Bly to John and Elaine Gill on mutual topics of interest to them: poetry in the 20th century.
