Permission to examine this collection will be granted to any qualified researcher upon completion of an application form. The original documents do not circulate and may only be used in the Reading Room of the Manuscripts Division.

The collection includes newspaper and magazine articles about the Minnesota Orchestra, its conductors and music directors, musicians and staff, and reviews of performances. Most of them are arranged by topic within the span of each season.
Due to the acidic nature of the newsprint, Archives staff are photocopying articles on acid-free paper. The first group of clippings are organized in document cases (numbered consecutively] and are stored in the Mezzanine.
Clippings from 1977 to the present are filed in record center cartons, are temporarily labeled, and are stored in Zone B.
Scrapbooks in Series 9.1 contain clippings from the early years of the Orchestra.
