Dmytro Zakharchuk (1894-1980), an artist and poet, was born in Slowita, Ukraine. After coming to the United States, he studied at Carnegie Institute of Art. His works were commissioned by Ukrainian Orthodox and Catholic churches,and his poems were published in Ukraine, the United States, and Canada.

Scope and Content

Papers (1923-1987) of Dmytro Zakharchuk (1894-1980), an artist and poet, include manuscript and published poetry, and an English translation of his experiences in Ukraine during World War I.
