<head>Scope and Content</head>
<p>Records (1910-1913) of the Austrian National Archives consist of reports and correspondence from Austro-Hungarian consulates in the United States pertaining to immigration. Topics include the Greek Catholic Church, pan-slavic nationalist agitation, immigration from Galicia, Hungarian, Slovak, and Slovene American newspapers, conditions of Slovak workers in Pennsylvania, Greek Catholic Ruthenians in America, political activity of immigrants, the Hungarian Reformed Church in New York, Slovene and Hungarian American organizations, and Croats and Serbs. Correspondents include Archbishop John Ireland of Saint Paul.</p>
