An engineer, Vladimir Sjyprykevich (1907- ) was born in Ostrivcy, Ukraine. He was educated at the University of Warsaw and the Tech. Hochschule in Danzig. He worked in Europe until the end of WWII, when he came to the United States and settled in Philadelphia, Pa.
