Lerando was a Czech American professor of romantic languages and literature. He came to the United States in 1916 and taught at various places, including St. Theresa's College (Winona, Minn.). Papers include corresondence, photographs, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, publications, and memorabilia documenting his teaching and research pursuits as well as his involvement in Czech American activities.
