<head>Biographical/Historical Note</head>
<p>A resident of Trenton, N.Y., Robert Immordino is a reseacher of Italian American history and a member of the American Italian Historical Association. He is on the board of director's of Dorothea's House, a social and cultural center that opened in 1914 to aid Italian immigrants in Princeton, N.J.</p>

<head>Scope and Content</head>
<p>Papers (1920-1985) of Robert Immordino consist largely of materials relating to the Order Sons of Italy in America, along with a few items pertaining to Italian American organizations. Included are a ritual book of the national OSIA organization; correspondence, memoranda, Mazzini Orphanage reports, financial reports, and Mortuary Fund regulations and benefits of the state organization. Materials pertaining to local OSIA lodges include a membership certificate from Mario Rapisardi Lodge No. 1 (N.Y.), meeting minutes, dues, financial records, and mortuary fund diary sheets from OSIA Guglielmo Marconi No. 427 (N.Y.), a dues payment booklet of Nicola Nanni from Vittorio Emanuele Re D'Italia No. 1137 (N.J.), and a by-laws book of Dorothea Van Dyke McLane No. 1420 (N.J.). Also included are newspaper clippings on New Jersey OSIA lodges.</p>
