The Rev. Paul J. Fox (1874-1961) was born in Kojkowice, Poland, and came to America in 1896. He was naturalized in 1904 and married in 1908. Rev. Fox was educated at Western Reserve University, Oberlin Theological Seminary, and Johns Hopkins University. He served as pastor of various Polish Presbyterian churches in Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey, and Illinois. Fox was editor of the Polish magazine Advance, and author of The Poles in America and The Polish National Catholic Church. He also was associated as a social worker with St. Paul's Polish Presbyterian Church (Baltimore, Maryland) and the Laird Community House in Chicago, Illinois.
