Judge Edward J. Angeletti served as 1st Assistant Grand Venerable of the Order Sons of Italy in America Maryland Grand Lodge (1975-1977), and as Grand Orator (1971-1975).

Scope and Content

The Edward J. Angeletti Order Sons of Italy in America Collection (1959-1977) consists of materials pertaining to the OSIA Maryland Grand Lodge.Included are Grand Council minutes (1973-1976), officers' lists; correspondence relating to various members of the Maryland Grand Council including the Grand Venerable, 1st Assistant Grand Venerable, Grand Orator and Grand Deputies; correspondence relating to various committees and activities of the Grand Lodge including by-laws, Birth Defects, Baltimore City Fair (1975), Italian Festival, Mortuary Fund, Operation Sail, and the Tax status of the Grand Lodge, as well as correspondence concerning schisms within the Maryland Grand Lodge.
