Biographical Sketch

Cheng-Khee Chee was born in Fujian, China in 1934 and emigrated to the United States in 1962. He studied at Nanyang University in Singapore and the University of Minnesota. After emigrating he worked as a librarian at the University of Minnesota, Duluth and became a professor of art at the same institution in 1981.

He has exhibited his art work in numerous galleries in both the U.S. and China. His only book illustration to date is for Old Turtle.
