		  Sketch</emph></head> 
		<p>Roslyn "Roz" Kroop Abisch was born April 2, 1927, in Brooklyn N.Y to
		  Benjamin and Frieda Kroop. Educated at Brooklyn College in the 40s, Abisch
		  rotated regularly between teaching and copywriting until the mid-60s when her
		  book was published with lifelong companion Boche Kaplan, entitled
		  <emph render="italic">Open Your Eyes</emph>. Together the two women
		  collaborated on many additional titles, mainly working under the pseudonym
		  'A.K. Roche'.</p>
