 <bioghist encodinganalog="545" id="hb"><head altrender="history"><emph render="bold">Biographical Sketch</emph></head><p>Nancy Smiler Levinson was born November 5, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota, B.A., 1960. Ms. Levinson worked as a reporter, researcher, and editor for various newspapers, magazines, and publishers before becoming a free-lance writer in 1975. She published her first work, Cindersara, in 1980.</p></bioghist>
 <scopecontent encodinganalog="520" id="sc"><head><emph render="bold">Scope and Content</emph></head><p>The collection contains materials for four titles published between 1988 and 1997. It includes typescripts, notes, front matter, page and galley proofs, and a publisher's dummy. There is also a substantial amount of correspondence dealing with the publication of Clara and the Bookwagon.</p></scopecontent>
