		  Sketch</emph></head> 
		<p> Violet Hilda Drummond was born in July, 1911, in London. She became
		  head of V. H. Drummond Productions Ltd., which produced a series of cartoons
		  for the BBC. She was also an author and illustrator of children's books, and
		  was awarded the Kate Greenway Medal of Library Association for her work in
		  <emph render="italic">Mrs Easter and the Stork</emph>.</p>
