		  Sketch</emph></head> 
		<p>Born in 1915 in Stockholm, Sweden, Karin Anckarsvard wrote over
		  twenty-five children's books between 1952 and 1968, one year prior to death.
		  She attended school in Oxford University and a commercial college in Stockholm.
		  Amoss was a member of the Catholic Women's League of Sweden, the Association of
		  Sweden's Authors of Children's Books, the Association of Sweden's Authors, and
		  the Conservative Women's League.</p>
