Biographical Sketch

Jean Okimoto was born December 14, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio. She has managed a double career as psychotherapist and writer of young adult novels. Her books deal with the problems of adolescence in a realistic, understanding, humorous, sometimes slightly ribald, manner. She has also authored several picture books for pre-readers.
