Biographical Sketch

Jane O'Connor was born December 30, 1947, in New York, NY. She has held various positions in publishing houses, and has also written a number of books on her own. She specializes in books for beginning readers, but has written for an older audience as well. She is also the author of the Here Come the Brownies series. Her work has earned her several honors and awards.
