Location

The Children's Literature Research Collections is located in 113 Elmer L. Andersen Library on the West Bank Campus of the University of Minnesota. The University campus is approximately one mile from downtown Minneapolis and eight miles from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Hours


The Collections are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The library is closed Saturdays & Sundays, and all University of Minnesota holidays which include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Please call 612-624-4576 before your visit or contact staff for an appointment.

Getting to Andersen Library at the University of Minnesota

The Children's Literature Research Collections is located in 113 Elmer L. Andersen Library on the West Bank Campus of the University of Minnesota. The University campus is approximately one mile from downtown Minneapolis and eight miles from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. There are nearby stops for city buses, airport hotel shuttles, and (beginning late in 2004) light rail. There is no parking immediately adjacent to the library, but there are surface lots and parking ramps within 1-3 blocks.
